Is there a place to attach the form required from the health care market place? or do I have to print and mail my tax return in?

For the past 2 tax seasons. I transfer my information as requested on my tax forms. It ends up in review for 2 months..  Then they request that I send form from health care directly.... Can I scan and attach the form with my tax forms for filing?

Assuming both of these health insurance policies are in the same State, this is due to an error with TurboTax if you are entering column B in both 1095-As.  I had reported it a couple of years ago, but like most of my suggestions, they ignored it.

You may want to try other software that does it correctly, or you can try a work-around:

    • Leave column B on one of the 1095-As blank (or zero).  For the other 1095-A (column B) look up/confirm that amount in column B here (as of right now, it doesn't show the 2016 numbers): https://www.healthcare.gov/tax-tool/#/year
    • TurboTax will give you are error message in the review that your 1095-A has blank numbers in column B.  You would probably need to file by mail.

No, you can't scan and attach anything to your tax return through TurboTax.

However, I suspect it is being held up because something is being reported wrong.  It could be you that are missing something, or it could be one of the glitches that TurboTax has.

Here are a few questions that MIGHT help me figure out what is causing the holdup:

When you enter your 1095-A into TurboTax, are you entering on number in column B?

Is this Marketplace policy shared with somebody that is not on your tax return?  If so, are you indicating that in TurboTax?  If you are telling that to TurboTax, what percentages are you "allocating" to yourself and the other person?  Is the other person also doing that?

Do you have more than one Marketplace policy (more than one 1095-A)?

I have 2 1095 A forms. one for me and my son. I'm sure that I transferred the information correctly. Is this a common problem?
