  • It is not allowing me to enter anything in the box when it populates a message:

Schedule SD WH: W-2 School District Tax should be entered on federal Form W-2, Box 19 for the School District Number entered above. 

 

it gives this message and highlights a box but is not allowing me to enter anything in the box. There is no keyboard popping up, I tried it on my computer as well and it is not allowing me to type anything in the box.

    Go back to your w2 and edit. Box 19 is the local tax you paid and box 20 is the locality name. Either boxes 18-20 should all be filled in or all blank.

     

    Save the w2.  I suggest at this point:

    1. Log out
    2. clear cache and cookies 
    3. try again to go through federal review
    4. then state review 
    5. file!
