The CA Franchise Tax Board sent me a Notice of Change and only showing my husband's CA Income Tax Withholding and not mine. It's on my tax that I filed, why is that?

This is actually a common occurrence this year.  Something seems to be up with the California FTB computers.  If you have verified that the correct number is showing on your CA return (line 71 of the 540), you can respond to them with the copies of your W2s/1099s/etc that show the total withholding you claimed on the tax return.

CA FTB is attempting to match withholding with the EDD quarterly payroll reports the employers send in, and for some reason they are missing some employers 4th quarter report.
You can call the number on the letter, or fax the W-2s that are included on the returns, to the FAX number in the letter.
