Can I use 2021 Free Version if I have RRSP HBP repayment or Rental Income?

    No, The Free Version will only cover the simple functions, For example:

    • It Covers COVID-19 benefits and repayments.
    • Import slips directly from the CRA.
     
    • Import last year’s TurboTax info.
     
    • Covers employment, unemployment, and pension income.
     
    • Handles RRSP contributions.
     
    • Claim dependent and student credits.

    The Premier Version uses these functions:

     

    • Covers income and expenses from stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrency.
     
    • Covers rental property income and expenses.
     
    • Covers capital gains and losses.
     
    • Handles foreign income.
