Adult with a disability but have not claimed it as an adult on my own yet but am registered as a PWD in BC if i do not work does claiming this give me any advantage^

    Yes, you can still claim your Disability Tax Credit (DTC) to your supporter as long as you can prove their support throughout the years in question. For example: a parent, spouse.

    The disability tax credit (DTC) is a non-refundable tax credit that helps persons with disabilities or their supporting persons reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay. An individual may claim the disability amount once they are eligible for the DTC.
