As a proffessional dancer, where/how can I write off the cost of attemding dance classes?

    If the classes were to get new skills, then you can't claim them as self-employment expenses. If they were to update or maintain current skills, you can claim them as other expenses.

     

    However, you might be able to claim the classes as a tuition amount if the fees are eligible.
