Question

Box 85 on my T4 is the amount I pay my employer for my health plan. Do I also list that under medical expenses? I googled this but some say yes and some say no?

No, you do not list this amount paid to your employer for the health plan under medical expenses as the amount in your T4 in box 85 will already be included when you enter your T4's information and will be automatically added to your medical expenses by the TurboTax software. However, you may still be able to claim a tax credit for other medical expenses that you paid for yourself or for certain eligible dependents. Please see the two TurboTax FAQs for more information:
