Question

Can I change the amount of income splitting. I don't want to send in a cheque when a strike is pending.

Yes. Have you already filed your return with NETFILE? What version of TurboTax are you using?

FYI: Your taxes owing is still due on May 1st regardless of the strike. If you don't want to send a cheque, then you can always pay through your bank or online. This CRA page gives you all the ways you can pay your taxes owing: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/payments-cra/individual-payments/make-payment.html
