Can I switch turbotax online to turbotax desktop for year 2023?

Yes, you can switch to our TurboTax Desktop/Download. Note that you will not be able to transfer the information from Online to Download as this is not available. Once you have used the Download software you can start transferring from the prior year again.

Hello,

I bought a "Self Employed Online Edition" from Costco. We have started to use it. However, we really want the desktop version. How can I switch from the online version to the desktop version? Do we need to pay again for the desktop version?

Yes, unfortunately, you would need to pay for the Desktop version of TurboTax as they are 2 separate versions and their codes will not work with each other.
