Do you have any dependants? there my wifes boys and one is 18 with his own taxes this yr to do and a 15yr old how do I apply this ?

If you are preparing your return with your wife, then yes you would enter them, as the dependants listed are for both of you.

If you are preparing your return by yourself, then you don't have to enter your wife's children unless you are going to claim credits for them.

There is no limit to how old your dependants can be. You can claim a grandparent if you help care for them.
