For the 8 returns does it have to be done under one account? Can the other people use a different computer and still have all of their previous years info accessible?

Yes, all 8 returns need to be done in the same account. If you allow other people to use your account they can prepare their returns too, but they will have access to your tax returns .

You can use TurboTax Online on any computer with a modern browser, or with an iPhone or Android phone by using the app. So, yes you can prepare your taxes using different computers.
