Forced to buy package?

I have never had to pay for use of Turbotax in past years and this year I find that a basic form such as charitable/political donation is resulting in me needing to purchase the premier package at $39.99. This seems highly unfair! How can you justify charging $40 for using this one form. I makes me wonder if I should just forego the deduction which would not have amounted to $40 in tax savings just out of spite against the Turbotax new pricing structure.

I am very upset about this as well. My taxes are very simple and I have always paid for the basic package. My tax selections have not changed but now it's telling me that the deluxe package will not fulfill my needs! If what you are saying is true, it is because I have made a charitable donation. You want us to pay extra for making charitable donations!!!!! That is just plain awful and bad business.
