How can I cancel a return that I have started and transfer information from prior year to start a new return?

I started a new return and completed it but I overlooked the option to transfer information into the new return. Is there a way to cancel the return that I've completed and start a new return with the "Transfer into new 2023 return", or is there a way to transfer last year's information over to the new return that has been completed?

Once you have started a return, there is no way to transfer in your previous year's return. But you can start again so you can use the transfer option.

If you are using TurboTax Online, then you can start a new return by selecting My Returns > Start a new return from the top of the left side menu.
