I am not clear about the work space in the home expenses

First question, the the number I enter in the total area in square feet or square meters, or doesn't matter?

Second I don't understand the GST/HST column. In an example of say $1000 expense that is taxed GST and PST, how do I enter that correctly?

You can use either square feet or square metres for the area questions. Just make sure to use the same unit of measurement for all the boxes.

If you paid GST then you would enter your full expense ($1000) in the GST column.
