I chose the free version of Turbo Tax, but at the end I'm being asked to pay for the deluxe. What's happening?

    If you are claiming any of the following then you will be asked to use TurboTax deluxe: Employment expenses (meals, lodging, etc.)

    Donations

    Medical expenses

    Investment income and expenses

    Rental property income and expenses

    Self-employed income and expenses
