Question

I have a high income for 2023 while my spouse has very low income, how can I file the tax to pay less tax or have more return?

    You may wish to do spousal returns (together) as seen in our TurboTax article: Facts Every Canadian Needs to Know About Filing Coupled Tax Returns. The TurboTax software will then suggest to enter different amounts on the other spouse to increase credits and deductions accordingly.
