I have all the personal info transferred this winter. Why will it not let me return but tell me to start a new return?

If you are saying that all your personal information was entered in your 2022 return, then yes you will start a new return and when asked how you did your return last year, you will answer the software you used and this will direct to transfer in your prior personal information into this tax year. You may wish to verify if your information was entered in the 2022 Online return.
