Question

I have an amount owing, but I objected it and its under appeal now. Will they hold my tax return until the appeal is completed.

I am not worried about the objection being denied as it was for my dependent and I know I am entitled to it.

    Yes. If the CRA will not issue any refund that they have not shown on your notice of assessment/reassessment until your dispute is resolved.
