Question

I have to file 2021 with emply and self emply. I want to claim husband separate to avoid paying extra on Turbo for self-emply help. His is straight forward. How?

Select "Start a New Return" from the left side menu. Then click on the "Create A Different Return" button. When you get to the page that asks "Who are you preparing this return for?", select "Myself". Now the return will be just for your husband, and he can use whatever version he needs.

For you, you can transfer your 2020 return, but make sure that you select that you are only transferring your return when asked.
