Question

I lost 5K USD (in crypto holdings) when BlockFi went bankrupt on Nov 28, 2022. Can I report it as a capital loss?

    Hi Mabochel,

    Thanks for reaching out. Did you dispose of the crypto holdings? If you disposed of the crypto holdings you can claim the disposition in your capital gains. When you are filling out your capital gains profile the first checkbox would apply to you (if you disposed of those holdings). Hope this helps, feel free to reach out with any concerns
