I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2022, am I qualified for the disability tax credit for 2022

    You are only able to claim the disability amount if you have an approved (T2201) Disability Tax Credit Certificate on file with the Canada Revenue Agency. 

    If you are not sure, you can contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and confirm it with them.
