If I didn’t file my taxes last year or the year before, how do I verify my CRA account to use the auto fill tool?

It is asking me to fill in my return amount on line 15000 which I know the amount but I never filled my taxes so does CRA have it in their system still or no?

If you are a B.C. or Alberta resident, you can use your provincial partner to create an account. If you are a resident of any other province or territory you msut file with the CRA before you can create an account. Refer to this link for more information: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/cra-login-services/about-cra-sign-in-services.html. You will need to continue filing your taxes manually and can create a CRA account after you file this year.
