My son who is 16 yrs old and has his T4, should I fill a tax return for himself individually

This CRA page has information on who is required to file a return:

But essentially, if your son hasn't made enough to owe money to the government, then he doesn't need to file a return. But he may still want to, as he may be eligible for some type of credit. Also, if this is his first return, your son will have to mail it in, but after that, he will be able to set up a My Account, and NETFILE in future years.
