My tax payment was duplicated in error - will revenue Canada refund the duplicated amount automatically?

This is for an individual and not a company. Some how the amount was paid twice from my bank on two different days. When I logged into my account on the revenue Canada website sure enough the payment was there twice with a credit showing. Will that credit be refunded automatically or will I need to contact them?

You will need to contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and ask if they will refund the amount.
