Under Personal Info Summary I need to change my “province of residence” from BC to Alberta. But the “Edit” function won’t let me. In other Personal Info items the “Edit function allows changes.

How can I get around this software Issue??

As per CRA, you can change your province of residence to Alberta (AB) if you have lived in AB on Dec 31, 2022. Here is how to change your province of residence.

1. Click on my info

2. Click on province of residence

3. Change it to Alberta.

I have done what cooki135 suggests already a dozen or more times. But it doesn’t work for me. I’m kicked out to a screen that asks me if I’m resident on tribal lands. I moved from BC in September and have to change my province of residence on Dec 31 2022 from BC to Alberta! But the software will not cooperate!
