Question

The values in box A of my RL-1 and box 14 of my T4 do not match and it is preventing me from filing. RL-1 box A minus RL-1 box J = T4 box 14, how can I file my return?

    The difference between the employment income appearing on the federal T4 box 14 and the Quebec RL-1 box A is a consequence of Quebec's tax autonomy.

     

    TurboTax will notify you in the Warnings section to verify, but this element does not constitute an error and does not avoid you to NETFILE.

     

    If you are unable to NETFILE, send us more details about the software version you are using (Online or Desktop) an if you have an error message (tell us exactly the entire message).
