even though I checked yes and I am eligible, Turbotax has left line 45300 blank and isn't including form 5000-S6 in my tax return.

Do you have a spouse or dependents? The Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) is calculated based on your income and family situation, so while you may be eligible on your own, the income of your spouse and dependents may be enough to disqualify you for the credit.

Also, a taxpayer who is a non-resident or has emigrated from Canada in the tax year is not eligible for the CWB credit.

You can get more information on the Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) from this Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) page: Canada workers benefit – Overview

    Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Please check again if you are eligible Canada workers benefit (CWB)

You are eligible for the Canada workers benefit (CWB) if you:

    • earn working income
    • are a resident of Canada throughout the year
    • are 19 years of age or older on December 31, or you live with your spouse or common-law partner or your child

You are not eligible for the CWB if you:

    • are enrolled as a full-time student at a designated educational institution for more than 13 weeks in the year unless, on December 31, you have an eligible dependant
    • are confined to a prison or similar institution for a period of at least 90 days during the year
    • do not have to pay tax in Canada because you are an officer or servant of another country, such as a diplomat, or you are a family member or employee of that person
