Where do I put in the year that im doing my taxes for?

does the cra know what year your filing for if you just finished the 2 previous years?

To file your 2022 tax return, you must use the 2022 software.

After you log in to your TurboTax account, which year do you see in the top left corner? The year you see in the top left corner is the year the Canada Revenue Agency will see on your return.

If it says 2022 Taxes, you're good to go. You're using the correct software.

If it says a different year, you will have to change this. To do so, follow this link (Online Tax Software) and single-click "Sign In" in the top right corner. Choose "Continue My 2022 Tax Return" from the list. Once you're signed in and see 2022 Taxes in the top left corner, you may start your 2022 tax return.
