Why does it show: "Net self-employment income -7,770.46" on my return when I wasn't self-employed in 2022?

I was self employed in previous years, but retired at the end of 2021.

If you transferred your information from last year into your 2022 return, then it would have brought in your self-employment information.

If you are no longer self-employed, you would need to start your return over and not transfer your prior year information. You can do this by clicking on the "Create a Different Return" button on the screen where it asks you which return you want to transfer.
