House Loan in Probate

My father passed in October of 2019, and my brother and I have been in the process of probate since then.  There was a house involved and I have been making the payments since 2019, but did not claim any of the interest on taxes last year.  The home loan has been changed to the "Estate" of my late father and we finally received forms stating my brother and I were name co-executors of his estate.  Can I claim the house payments on my taxes?  I have proof that I have been making the payments and the 1098 form.  We have signed all the forms to close probate, but our court date is not scheduled until October of this year.

get an accountant; the Estate should have submitted a tax return and you would have received a K-1 with your fair share of the interest available for you to deduct on your tax return.
