Download tt22 file from online version

Hello,

Last year, I used the online tool to file my taxes. This year, I bought the CD version. How do I download my tt22 file from the web version to import it into the 2023 desktop version? In other words, how do I import my previous year into the desktop version?

Unfortunately, TurboTax Online software has no way of saving to the .ttxx file format. TurboTax CD/Download can only import or open .ttxx files.

This year you will need to print a copy and enter it into this year's which will allow you to do a transfer next year.

I would like to use the online version going forward, seeing Intuit's desire to move away from the CD version. Can I get a refund or a credit towards the online version?
