WHERE DO I INSERT CAPITAL LOSSES BROUGHT FORWARD FROM 2020 ON MY 2021 RETURN?

To enter Net Capital Loss Carry Forwards on TurboTax online:

1. Open your TurboTax return. At the top of the screen, select the "Find" icon.
2. In the search bar, type "Losses" and press Go.
3. On the Your Losses Profile for 2021 page, select "Net Capital Loss Carry Forward" and press Continue.
4. Once you are on the Net Capital Loss Carry Forwards page, enter the net capital loss incurred that you are carrying forward beside "2001 - 2020". Press Continue.
5. Input the amount you would like to claim in 2021 in the box provided. Press Continue to save your work.
