FORM4562 NOT CREATED FOR BUSINESS PROPERTY

I filed taxes through a filing agent till 2018 and I used to have form 4562 for depreciation for rental property. But after switching over to turbo tax I do not see 4452 for last 3 years and I thoght I will correct that issue this year.

I added depreciation in questionnaire but tool did not generate form 4452. How I can I fix it? is there any definitive way to generate form 4452?

Yes, you generate Form 4562 by answering the questions about your business assets in TurboTax.

I assume you are referring to Form 4562 throughout your post because Form 4452 is a different topic.

Form 4562 isn't required to be printed with the return when there are no new assets and no listed assets for the year, so to make sure that your tax returns for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 are wrong, you need to check to see if any depreciation was recorded for those years.

Check line 18 for a depreciation deduction.
