Are tax returns taking long for everyone in Canada this year?

    As per the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), their "goal" is to send your refund within 2 weeks if filed online, and 8 weeks if filed as a paper return. The CRA may also take longer to process your return if it is selected for a more detailed review. If you use direct deposit, you could also get your refund faster. For reference, the processing of my personal return took 2 weeks.
