Can I deduct rental car expenses incurred to earn income and if "yes" - how do I deduct them?

I could not afford my own vehicle so I rented a car to satisfy my sales job requirements at various times throughout the year.

Can I deduct the cost of the rental, the rental insurance, and the gas?

How do I do that?
