Unless you bought it to rent it out or use for business purposes, you wouldn't enter the purchase of a property on your tax return. Instead, you would report it when you sell it.

If you did buy it to rent it out or for business use, you might choose to take capital cost allowance CCA on the mobile home. What CCA class you would use would depend on the construction of the mobile home and if it is attached to the ground or not.
