I inherited property with taxes paid and just sold it where do i put in the numbers for value of property when i inherited it ?

property value when inherited $424 k and just sold it for $1,110 ,000 and taxes wer paid when i inherited it

If the property was not your principal residence, you can enter the sale in the Capital Gains/Losses section. Use the “Find” tool 🔍 to search for “cap”. Select “Capital Gains and Capital Gains Deduction Profile” and then click the “Go” button.
