I sold shares in a private corporation. What option should I selecting the 'Capital Property' drop down options?

    You would select the "Mutual funds/ publicly traded shares/ stocks/ cryptocurrencies" option.

    You are able to include private corporation shares in this category as well.

    it is important to fill in the remaining information including the company name so that Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is able to see what shares you are reporting.
