Is the B.C. renters tax credit "rent paid" and "number of months of tenancy..." just for the year? or in total?

    1. do I enter the monthly rent OR the total annual rent? 2. I wanted this credit on my wife's return but it keeps reverting to me. Thanks

    You enter the full amount paid for the year. As per the CRA which ever spouse's return is assessed first will be getting the credit.
