It keeps trying to upgrade me saying I have rental income when I don't

If you are using TurboTax Online and filling in the initial details, you will find a question on the page "What happened for you in 2023?"

It will ask, "Did you have income from rental property or investments, such as: interest earned; sale of stocks, stock options, cryptocurrency, or real estate; or related investment expenses?"

If you answer "Yes" to this question and continue to answer "Yes" to the question "Did you have income or expenses from a rental property?" then you will have to upgrade your plan. The software will assume that you have rental income.
