Where do I report the rent I pay?

    The only place to enter your rent will be under the Provincial section of your income tax return. Once there you will continue until you see the page that says "Payments Related to your Principal Residence"

    Enter the amount(s) paid for rent, property tax, home energy costs for a principal residence on a reserve, and/or accommodation in a public long-term care home. Here is where you will enter your rent paid.
