Do you mean does it qualify you for the Renter's Credit on your state tax return? Check with your state’s Department of Revenue for more information. Refer to the TurboTax article Am I eligible for a state renter's tax credit?

Ok. My mistake. I completely read it wrong. My state does give a deduction for renters, but it's referring to property owners that rented there properties.. Thank you so much!!
