Foreign Earned Income error message won't go away

I accidentally clicked on the entry that my W2 income is foreign. I realized this when I got an error message stating that I either need to fill out Form 2555-T or "remove indicators that foreign earned income qualifies for exclusion on Form 2555..." I deleted my W2 and re-entered, indicating that none of my income was foreign, but the error message won't go away. It's prohibiting me from filing. What can I do?

It depends. See if form 2555 is listed as a form.  If so, perform the following steps.

    In Turbo Tax Online:

    • Tax tools
    • Tools
    • Delete a Form
    • Look for Form 2555 and delete it and all of the worksheets associated with it
    • Now sign out and back in to save the changes.

    In Turbo Tax Software

    • Go to the forms mode in your program
    • Look for form 255 and all worksheets associated with.
    • Delete the form and the worksheets
