I entered my schedule K-1 rental net loss. I am an active participant in managing this property with AGI less than $100000. How can I get the program to recognize this?

An answer has been found. The online version of TurboTax premium does not allow you to choose to be an active participant. After speaking with TurboTax on the phone and explaining the situation, some trial and error, involvement of a team lead, manager, and CPA it was found that the only way to correct the issue was to get the desktop version downloaded. In that version of TurboTax you can choose the active participant box. It took nearly 2 hours on the phone and several sets of eyes to confirm that the error was actually with the program itself and not user error.
