Question

I have a rental property in India - a bank account where the rental income is deposited. I pay income taxes in India on rental income. How do I enter the taxes paid?

    The US will provide a credit for taxes paid to another country on the same income. The credit will be the lesser of:

    1. Tax paid to India; or
    2. Tax the US would charge on the same income
