Question

I live in Minnesota and have a CRP for my apartment and a separate one for my garage space. How do I handle this?

    You can only take the renter's credit for the building where you live, so you would not want to include the garage space.  It is odd that you received a separate CRP for a garage (especially if it is attached to the home), but you would want to contact your landlord if you have questions.
