MA State Asks me to e-file but I need to Mail Federal Return for form 3115

Hello,

Mark to Market election made on form 3115 needs to be mailed to the IRS along with this year's tax return, however, MA state requires me in TurboTax to do an e-file. As far as I know I cannot e-file state and mail-in federal return.

What do I do in this case?

You will need to print and mail your MA return as well. Every state that requires e-file, does have exceptions. When you cannot e-file your federal, you are able to print and mail your state.
