Where do I enter the improvement costs, such as Kitchen remodeling, on Rental property (house)
The Screen "Describe This Asset" does not have a category that looks right.
After clicking "add an asset" at the "Your property Assets" summary page; on the next page click "Rental real estate property". On the next page, click "Residential rental real estate". On the next page, enter your description, something like "Kitchen remodel" (don't be distracted by the example 123 Main St). Leave the "cost of Land" box blank.
