How do I alert the IRS that I’m pregnant and due oct 2021 to include that newborn in my advanced child tax credit

You cannot alert the IRS that you are pregnant.   You cannot claim your child for the child tax credit until your child is born and has a Social Security number.   They are not going to start sending you payments before the child is born.    If you do not get any advance payments then you will receive the child tax credit when you file your 2021 tax return in 2022.
