Hello, should I file an amended return for 2019 first or file my 2020 tax return first?

    Whatever you do, don't file the 2020 return late.

     

    Having said that, if you make required changes to your 2019 return first, then when you open your 2020 return for the first time, you can ask TurboTax to carry over your 2019 data to 2020. This may save you some keystrokes.
